How to Set Up the Webex Integration

This article will explain how to set up Webex integration and how proctoring using Webex works from the instructor’s and the candidate’s perspectives.

Setting up the Webex integration #

To access the tab to set up Webex integration:

  1. Click on the System tab in the main menu.
  2. Select the Integrations tab.
  3. Select the Webex settings tab.

 

 

  1. Insert Client ID.
  2. Insert Client Secret.
  3. After registering the integration on the hosting Webex account, you can find this information. Use the Redirect URI parameter later to configure the Redirect URI of the app at https://developer.webex.com/.
  4. Click on the Get token button, and you will be redirected to the Webex page, where you should log in again with the hosting Webex account.
  5. Click on the Validate token button to validate the information.

 

 

You should log in with the Webex hosting account at https://developer.webex.com/.

 

Click on the profile icon and choose My Webex Apps.

 

Click on Create a New App.

 

  1. Enter the integration name.
  2. Enter Contact email.
  3. Choose icon.
  4. Enter Description.
  5. Enter Redirect URI, and use the Redirect URI parameter from Webex Settings.
  6. Select all Meetings Scopes
  7. Click Add integration.

Once you create an integration, you will get the Client ID and Client Secret.

  1. Copy the Client ID in the GetCertified Application under the Webex settings tab.
  2. Copy the Client Secret in the GetCertified Application under the Webex settings tab.
  3. Click the Save button.
  4. Click on the Get token button, and you will be redirected to the Webex page, where you should log in again with the hosting Webex account.
  5. Once you are logged in, click the Accept button.

Once you accept, the Validate token button will appear in the GetCertified application, indicating that you have access to this token.
